Dominican College Griffith Avenue 2014 - 2020

My secondary school years were among the best and most transformative of my life. It was there that I formed lifelong friendships that I still cherish got to see my friends every week to laugh, learn, and support one another. Academically, I earned a distinction in the BT Young Scientist competition for my project on sustainable clothing and formaldehyde levels in fast fashion, an experience that taught me the power of research to drive meaningful change. Beyond the classroom, I discovered a passion for tennis which i still play almost weekly to this day and developed a deep appreciation for history. Together, these experiences have shaped my curiosity, resilience, and commitment to making a positive impact.

University College Dublin 2020 - 2024

After secondary school, I chose to study Economics and Political Science with International Relations, a decision that felt risky since I hadn’t studied either subject before. Still, I was drawn to economics for its ability to explain the world around us, and it complemented my interest in politics perfectly. That choice turned out to be one of the best I ever made, I quickly fell in love with the sunject and in particular microeconomics and its insights into everyday decision-making, and I equally enjoyed learning politics. To learn the subjects with a bit more fun and outside of the classroom, I also joined both the Economics and Politics societies at UCD, where I took part in debates (though i wasnt very good!) and spent evenings discussing current topics over food and drinks with my friends. Outside the classroom, I went to university balls, met lifelong friends and new people and used breaks to do some travelling. ill never forget the memories I made during college!

University of Milan 2023

One of the most amazing experiences I had at university was studying politics in Milan for seven months. While the academic side was incredible, the experience matured me in unexpected ways outside the classroom. It was the first time I’d lived away from home without knowing anyone or relying on friends and family for support. I met people from a variety of cultures and gained completely new perspectives on life and education. I also fully embraced Italian culture—traveling around nine Italian cities, learning the language, and continuing to improve my Italian after I returned. I’ll never forget my time in Milan, and after my Erasmus year, it’s a country I hope to move back to for a while in the future.

UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School 2024 -2025

After finishing university, I decided to pursue a Master’s in Management Consultancy. Consultancy had always intrigued me for many of the same reasons I loved microeconomics: I enjoy viewing challenges through a “people-first” lens and seeing the real impact decisions can have on everyday lives. I also loved that in consultancy you get to see a project through from start to finish and work across a variety of industries. The master’s program was an amazing experience that really threw me into the deep end academically, having never presented in my undergraduate, I suddenly found myself pitching consultancy projects and collaborating closely with firms like Grant Thornton and working on a project investigating Ireland’s adoption of electronic health records gave me a level of hands-on experience I never expected.
